Felting with Maggie

Today, we got the chance to work with Owen, a teacher in our school's Mom.  Her name is Maggie.  Maggie is a really good fiber artist. We made some things to go in our exhibit at the living museum.  My group is in the process of making a pyramid to sew together because we are studying Ancient Egypt.  We each made a side of the pyramid.   For felting, their are many steps.  You need to lay out you felt, then add water and rub and press on for a long time.  Then you squeeze it again and again  then rinse and dry. It takes a while to make felt, but it's worth it in the end because you have this really cool master piece.   Here is Maggie's site that showcases all of her pieces of art: maggieglossop.com.
